We are excited to announce our second annual conference in a partnership with Association of Fundraising Professionals – Aloha Chapter, Chaminade University of Honolulu, Hawaii Community Foundation, and Hawaii Alliance of Nonprofit Organizations. And this year, this event has grown to include two full days of renewal, professional development and networking.

This year, we are exceptionally pleased to welcome the Hawai`i Community Foundation's Board Leadership Conference. Integrating this gathering of board and trustee members will create an unprecedented synergy with business and nonprofit executives as well as government and policy leaders in this mega conference of nonprofit communities!

We have an outstanding selection of educational sessions on fundraising, nonprofit management and board/trustee topics, as well as plenty of networking. In addition to a roster of impressive speakers, we are pleased to announce eBay founder Pierre Omidyar as our keynote presenter, as well as Rosetta Thurman and Trista Harris (co-authors of How to be a Nonprofit Rockstar) and inspirational speaker and triathlete Sarah Reinertsen (author of In a Single Bound) as our plenary speakers. And we are very excited to feature Jeanne Bell, executive director of CompassPoint Nonprofit Services.

Featuring more than 50 sessions over two days, the second annual Conference of Nonprofit Communities of Hawai`i has been carefully designed by a diverse group of dedicated professionals from Hawai`i's nonprofit sector. The conference features timely and relevant professional-development topics; interactive workshops; fascinating and inspiring local and national speakers; and panel discussions - all interspersed with numerous opportunities to network and explore potential collaborations within the nonprofit sector.

Those involved in Hawai`i's nonprofit sector will benefit from the conference, especially:

    • Nonprofit Executive Directors and Managers,
    • Nonprofit Board Members and Trustees,
    • Business Executives,
    • Professional and Volunteer Fundraisers,
    • Marketing and Communications Specialists,
    • Government Leaders and Policy-Makers, and
    • Fundraising and Nonprofit Consultants
